Metal band, Fear Factory, has recently made a major announcement. The band has revealed that they have signed a new vocalist to replace founding member Burton C. Bell, who left the band in 2021.
The new vocalist is Milo Silvestro, an Italian singer, drummer and multi-instrumentalist artist. Cazares the band’s guitarist and only original band member left, discovered Silvestro from his online Fear Factory cover videos.
The band is expected to embark on a tour in 2023 to promote the new album, 2021’s Aggression Continuum, which was recorded before Bell’s departure. Fans can look forward to seeing the new vocalist in action.
Cazares said: “It’s time to introduce the world to our new vocalist. The search was long and meticulous, but I know for sure we got the right guy. It is a big week for us in Fear Factory as we make our final preparations for our return to the live stage touring across the U.S. beginning Feb. 25 on the ‘Rise of the Machine’ tour. We can’t wait to get out on the road and start kicking some ass. ‘The Machine Will Rise.”
“This is a huge opportunity for me,” Silvestro wrote in a comment on Fear Factory’s Instagram. “I’ve been a fan of the band for many years and it feels very surreal but I’m excited to be part of it. I know I have some massive shoes to fill but I’m here to do it in the best way possible and give justice to the vocal legacy of this legendary band.”
