Best Rock Performance, Best Metal Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Album are the four rock/metal categories in the Grammys, and Ozzy osbourne was nominated in each one of those!
Andrew Watt, the producer, and Robert Trujillo, Metallica’s bassist, were present to receive the Grammy on behalf of Osbourne, who probably due to his health issues, wasn’t at the event.
Andrew said “Thank you to the academy so much, accepting on behalf of the singer, Ozzy couldn’t be here tonight but Robert Trujillo is here. We had so much fun making this album and we got to unite Ozzy and Tony together to make a great song. I talked to Ozzy on the car ride over and he had two messages to share with the people – I love you all and FUCK OFF!” typical Ozzy!
