If you don’t already know, Floor Jansen Lead singer of Symphonic metal band Nightwish was diagnosed with breast cancer back in October. Luckily her prognosis was good and the cancer didn’t spread. She underwent surgery to remove the tumor and it was successful, so she was able to make the European tour, but unfortunately, the local radiation treatment that was supposed to take place three months after her surgery was postponed from February to January. The band was supposed to be touring Asia that month so sadly they had to cancel it. They posted on insta:
” NEWS UPDATE
The last stage of getting @floor_jansen_official back to full health involves radiation therapy, which has been rescheduled from February to January. And so, as a consequence, we are unable to come to Asia as scheduled. But don’t panic! All of our team are working solidly on making sure we all see you again soon.
