After announcing their 12th studio album “72 seasons” to be released on Friday, April 14, 2023 and releasing “Lux Æterna” song, the band is celebrating with M72 “No Repeat Weekend” world tour.
Starting April 2023, Metallica will be playing two nights in each of the 22 different cities they’re touring, with each show a completely unique experience: Two different set lists with two different opening bands. Most of the shows will be on Fridays and Sundays.
The band will be sharing the stage with different bands: Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, MammothWVH, and Pantera, Architects, Greta Van Fleet, or Volbeat, depending on which shows you are attending.
Each weekend offers a variety of Enhanced Experiences, ranging from access to a meet and greet, production and stage tour, food and beverage in the “Black Box” lounge to early entry into the venue.
The prices go from $424 up to.. brace yourselves.. $7,727!!!!!! all depending on the enhanced experience package you choose. So let’s cry while we go through them one by one, from cheapest to most expensive. Let’s go!
“Frantic” Early-Entry GA Package
The lowest-priced package, “Frantic,” between $414 USD – $598 USD (PRICE VARIES BY MARKET) this package allows early access to the General Admission section of the venue for both nights. It also comes with one limited-edition merchandise and a drink, an express lane at a designated merchandise stand and on-site perks such as priority check-in, dedicated support staff, and a fast-track lane into the venue.
“Seek & Destroy” Reserved Package
“Seek & Destroy” between $518 USD – $698 USD, you get a reserved seat in the lower bowl section of the venue for both nights, one limited-edition merchandise, an express lane at a designated merchandise stand and on-site perks such as priority check-in, dedicated support staff, and a fast-track lane into the venue.
“One” Enhanced Experience
The “One” package between $830 USD – $1,098 USD. You get one premium reserved seat in the first few rows of the lower bowl for both shows, you get to party with other Metallica fans on both nights at the official “Black Box” pre-show lounge, which includes three complimentary beverages, as well as appetizers and bar snacks, one limited edition Metallica merchandise item one MP3 download of the live audio from both shows. An Express lane at a designated merchandise stand and on-site perks such as priority check-in, dedicated support staff, and a fast-track lane into the venue.
“Moth Into Flame” Snake Pit Experience
“Moth Into Flame” Snake Pit Experience is between $1,038 USD – $1,398 USD. You get one ticket to the Snake Pit, an exclusive standing section located in the middle of the stage, for both shows, you get to party with other Metallica fans both nights at the official “Black Box” pre-show lounge, which includes three complimentary beverages, as well as appetizers and bar snacks. You also get one limited edition Metallica merchandise item, one MP3 download of the live audio from both shows, an express lane at a designated merchandise stand and on-site perks such as priority check-in, dedicated support staff, and a fast-track lane into the venue.
“Nothing Else Matters” Snake Pit Experience
The “Nothing Else Matters” Snake Pit Experience costs between $3,222 USD – $4,398 USD. This package offers the same things as the previous one but in addition, you get one backstage meet & greet experience with two members of the band, which includes a photo taken by the tour photographer, and a group conversation with members of the band (band members will vary from show-to-show). You also get one production tour led by a Metallica crew member and on-stage group photo, Two limited editions, show-specific posters, One autographed setlist featuring all of the songs played at both shows and one commemorative city-specific concert ticket.
“Lux Aeterna Private Platform Experience”
The last package, “Lux Aeterna Private Platform Experience,” which costs $7,272. You get, one exclusive viewing platform with an amazing view (near the stage at the base of a production tower, which allows easy access to and from the General Admission section of the venue) for a private group of up to eight people (you can have different guests for the two different nights). You also get a platform beverage cooler stocked with complimentary beer and soft drinks, You get access to the official “Black Box” pre-show lounge, which includes three complimentary beverages, as well as appetizers and bar snacks, one limited edition Metallica merchandise item for each member of your group, you’ll also be able to pre-order concert merchandise and have it delivered to your platform. Like all the other packages, you’ll have on-site perks such as priority check-in, dedicated support staff, and a fast-track lane into the venue.
You can also buy “I Disappear” tickets, which is a General Admission ticket to as many shows as the ticket allows. The Silver level which allows admission to as many shows as the fan wants to attend on one continent within one year, the Gold option which allows unlimited shows on two continents in one year and finally the Diamond which allows the fan to attend unlimited shows on two continents for two years.
