We all love a good horror movie and we all love movies related to metal music and what makes us even more excited is when we see our idols appear in a movie. Well how about a combination of all of the above!? A 3 in 1 movie. In the horror flick Hairmetal Shotgun Zombie Massacre, Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe, Slayer’s Tom Araya, and Morbid Angel’s David Vincent all have roles. Plus, Norman Reedus, known for his work on The Walking Dead and Death Stranding, also appears.
The movie follows a hair metal band’s quest to create new music, but things take a dark turn when they stumble upon a cursed book that strongly resembles the Necronomicon from Evil Dead. As a result, the band must fend off a horde of zombies.
The film is written by Josh Vargas and co-written by Jvstin Whitney, with Vargas as the director.
The original music for the movie was composed by none other than Phil Anselmo, the lead singer of Pantera. If you’re intrigued by Hairmetal Shotgun Zombie Massacre and want to watch it go here! (Sadly it’s not for free 🙁 but you can buy it for 20$)
